Team Dignitas have announced the addition of Bas "SKO" Dirks who will take the place of Luka "lukzaR" Puš.

Active once more, Dirks will take the place of in-game leader in Dignitas as the UK side prepares for i33 later this month. A poor performance at CDC4 saw Dignitas fail to make the top eight and "lukzaR" has taken the chop as a result, with a lack of activity the reason given. The announcement today confirms recent rumors that a change was on the cards for Dignitas and comes just three weeks before the team's next event.Dirks has big plans for the team, saying: "The Dignitas Call of Duty 4 team are a group of very talented players, and once they learn how to properly prepare for big events, I am very confident good results will follow". The Dutch player has captained a number of big-name European sides in the past and will be hoping to bring the same brand of dedication and hard work that saw the likes of Check-Six and Tek-9 rise to the top."His tactical mind is unrivaled" boasts former captain Mick Bradshaw, "and we hope he can bring our team and organization some much needed success again". Dignitas have failed to place in the top three at an international event in over a year but appear certain that the addition of "SKO" will turn things around for the embattled UK side.Luka "lukzaR" Puš, the player "SKO" will replace, said: "I believe this team has great potential and personality and will go far". Puš admitted his level of activity was holding the team back and has left on good terms.
